The ToolBox - Key Features of ArtCAM Insignia

ArtCAM Insignia houses all the tools and functionality to completely manufacture a whole range of different 2D products, from shop signs to office name plaques. As well as having a full compliment of advanced 2D design and layout tools, Insignia also contains several inbuilt wizards to help speed up certain jobs. These include Automatic Toolpath Paneling and Matrix Multiplate Engraving. No matter how complex your design, Insignia will have a toolpath strategy within its database perfectly suited for routing or engraving the piece on your CNC machine.

Design Process

You can then either create unique artwork totally within ArtCAM Insignia or use your imported artwork as a base image to design around. ArtCAM can import most image formats, including Jpeg, Tiff, Gif, Bmp, Ai and also gives full support to dwg and dxf files retaining all the original layer information.

	2D Design & Vector Creation ArtCAM’s advanced drawing tools allow you to create highly intricate and detailed designs. You are also able to bring in and vectorize 2D Bitmap images. ArtCAM Insignia supports most common vector formats including JPEG's, Tiffs, Gifs, and BMP's.
	Expandable Vector library ArtCAM Insignia includes an expandable vector library.

	True Shape Nesting Reduce waste material consumption and improve efficency with ArtCAM’s true shape nesting options.
	Inlays and Insert Wizard Create inlayed letters or decorative artistic inlays with the Auto Inlay Wizard.
	Font Editor Edit existing fonts or create your own including single stroke engraving fonts.

Easy to use yet f ully configurable 2 and 2.5D machining enables you to go from design to manufactured part extremely quickly and easily. Machine your pieces using ArtCAM's wide range of machining strategies and tools from within its database. ArtCAM can output to over 200 machine tools.
