Texture Relief

This feature is a quick and simple way of adding additional decoration to your 3D relief. A range of shapes such as spheres, cones, pyramids and weaves can be added or subtracted to any colour and vector or the entire 3D model. These can be positioned and spaced out as required or if you prefer you can import your own file to create the required texture. This could be used for: woodworking projects such as a texture wall panel, embossing plates or in sign making, a background for a sign.

Smooth Relief

The Smooth Relief 3D modelling tool is an extremely quick way of guaranteeing a smooth, unblemished surface to your 3D model. You can smooth over the entire 3D design, an area within a specific vector or a selected colour in a number of passes. This is a particularly useful way of smoothing evenly across a scanned 3D model for example.

Relief Offset

This feature is ideal for press tool manufacture or any application requiring injection moulding, vacuum forming, blow moulding or die casting.  The inward offset relief option can be used to either: lighten or hollow out the part, create the wall thickness or to create the female punch.  The outward offset relief option allows you to create the male punch or can be used to create the shape required for vacuum formed packaging.
